PROCESSING

Step 1 - Pick-up. Within the hyborg one hybcell is picked up and transferred into the hybridisation and analysis chamber.

Step 2 - Lowering. By lowering the inner cylinder sample liquid is rising and the annular ring of sample liquid is forming over the spotted detector molecules. At this point in time interaction of sample and detector molecules starts.

Step 3 - Processing script. One step after the other of a pre-defined process queue is executed by the hyborg. A thermal block within the device enables temperature profiles. The central axial channel is used for buffer exchanges. Analysis is done by state of the art fluorescence measurement. The cylindrical shape allows more than one scan under wet conditions.

Step 4 - Data analysis. Scanned tif-pictures are processed by built-in algorithms, which extract and interpret data points according to rules set in the script.
