Rec. SARS-CoV-2 Spike Glycoprotein
The Recombinant Human Novel Coronavirus Spike Glycoprotein (S), Partial (aa 16–685) is a purified protein fragment derived from the SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) spike protein, specifically spanning amino acids 16 to 685. Expressed in either baculovirus or mammalian cell systems, this recombinant protein includes a 6xHis tag and is purified to over 85% purity, as verified by SDS-PAGE. It is formulated lyophilized in Tris/PBS buffer (pH 8.0) with 6% trehalose for stability. This spike protein fragment is ideal for use in serological assays, antibody development, vaccine research, and structural studies. For optimal storage, working aliquots can be kept at 4°C for up to one week, while long-term storage should be at –20°C to –80°C. To maintain protein integrity, repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided. - 0.2-1mg
