Helicobacter pylori detector Model SUBT-D1
Urea Breath Analyzer / SUBT-D1
The 14C Urea Breath Test is a reliable, non-invasive method for both primary diagnosis and post-treatment follow-up of Helicobacter pylori infections. The procedure is simple: the patient swallows a capsule or solution containing 14C-urea. If H. pylori is present, its urease enzyme breaks down the 14C-urea into 14CO₂ and ammonia.
The 14CO₂ is absorbed into the bloodstream, carried to the lungs, and exhaled. After a specified interval, the exhaled air is collected on a breath collection card for analysis.
This test requires no special preparation, delivers accurate results, and, thanks to its non-invasive nature, is widely accepted by patients.
